Training Opportunities
As part of their continuous development our staff are offered training opportunities such as NVQ, LDQ, mandatory training, AAT, CIPD and other professional qualifications.

- Annual appraisals providing a chance to review roles, continuously improving and maintaining individual roles in line with the key objectives of DGSM yourChoice.
- Competitive salary – Our salary structure is kept in line with the National Joint Council and staff receive a salary increase when this has been agreed.
- The Staff Forum meets quarterly and is a consultative meeting enabling staff to discuss company policies, terms and conditions of employment and to organise the annual staff conference.
- The annual staff conference encourages a day of team building, presentations are made on the past year and future developments. The PQASSO (Practical Quality Assurance System for Small Organisations) committee arrange a quality competition each year and each service produces an entry. The winner of the PQASSO competition is decided by a judging panel and winners are presented with the Quality Award Shield at the conference.
- DGSM yourChoice organises a number of staff social activities throughout the year and staff are invited to attend fundraising events at a discounted rate.
