DGSM yourChoice had been successfully providing residential care for people with learning disabilities for many years. In partnership with "In Touch" (a subsidiary of Hyde Housing Association),DGSM yourChoice manages 4 residential care homes. The focus of our residential service is to enable individuals to participate in their local community and develop skills, opportunities and choice.

Benham Lodge

A registered care home close to the town centre and train station, which provides 24-hour care for 9 service users with learning disabilities.

The age range of service users at Benham Lodge are between 30 to 65.

Benham Lodge is wheelchair accessible.

Granby Place

A registered care home, which provides 24-hour care for 10 service users with learning disabilities. The service focuses on people who are older, the current age range is between 50 - 82 years. The home benefits from a sensory garden; a lift will be installed during 2009/2010.

Granby Place will be wheelchair accessible during 2009/2010

Highfield Road

A registered care home in the town centre, which provides 24-hour care for 8 service users with learning disabilities. The age range of service users at Highfield Road are between 30 to 62.

Highfield Road is not wheelchair accessible.

The Haven

A registered care home, which provides 24-hour care for 7 service users with learning disabilities. The age range of service users at The Haven are between 30 to 76.

The Haven has limited wheelchair accessibility.
