How about doing your own fundraising for DGSM yourchoice? With your help we truly can make a difference to the lives of people with learning disabilities.

Fundraising could include organising your own event such as a Quiz night or Sports Day there are a large number of fundraising ideas for you to choose from. Maybe you’d like to organise something with your family and friends or your company or even your local group? What about getting your local pub involved? The more people involved, the more the fundraising will get easier. Is there something you’ve always liked to organise but never had the confidence? Well now is your chance!

If you would like to carry out your own fundraising and need more information please contact the fundraising department on fundraising@dgsmyourchoice.org.uk who will provide you with full support and administration and even some ideas if you are not sure what fundraising you would like to do!

Success Story—the family fun day Treasure Hunt

The family fun day Treasure Hunt was the innovative idea of a volunteer back in 2005. He has now run three Treasure Hunts which have been a great success raising both money and publicity for DGSM yourChoice. Many service users from DGSM yourChoice volunteer on the day! It’s a great event where the whole family get involved and have fun!
