Place 2 Be

Place 2 Be is a social club which runs at Peppercorns on Thursday evenings between 6.30pm to 9.00pm. Activities offered include quiz nights, karoake, Nintendo Wiii and pool. It gives a great opportunity to meet old friends and make some new ones.

People accessing the club will be asked regularly for their views and ideas and the activities on offer will reflect what people want. Sessions cost £3.00 and include a drink and snack. For more information please contact placetobe@dgsmyourchoice.org.uk

Disco and Karaoke nights

Peppercorns also runs regular disco and karaoke nights for everyone.  Dates for 2010 are as follows: Saturday 3rd July and Saturday 11th September.  Disco's run from 7.30pm - 11.00pm.  Tickets are priced at £5.00.

Cygnet Club

The Cygnet Club runs on Thursday evenings at The Woodlands in Swanley. This is a leisure club run entirely by volunteers offering activities and friendship for people with learning disabilities. The club opens from 7.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. All age groups are welcome and the activities on offer cater for all interest groups.

The Monday Club

The Monday Club is a social club for adults aged over 18 years, who have learning disabilities. There are opportunities to meet others, make new friends, play games or engage in activities to mark calendar dates, dance to the occasional disco or just work on individual projects. Refreshments available.

The club meet on Mondays from 7.00pm to 9pm at Aburound House in Gillingham .  For more information on the club please contact Emilymay Harrison on emay2uk@yahoo.co.uk.
