KENT EXCELLENCE IN BUSINESS AWARDS 2010

We are very proud to announce that DGSM yourChoice won the Kent Excellence in Business Award for the "Best Adult Social Care Business" sector.

The Judges described DGSM yourChoice as:

"an excellent service user led organisation with a clear long term strategy, strong involvement in the community and diversification of income streams".

The work involved to win this award started with the completion of an in depth entry form exploring all the aspects of the organisation.  The answers we provided put us in the final six shortlisted organisations and at that stage we went before a panel of judges for a lengthy interview.  Having been sucessfully interviewed by the panel we were invited to attend the gala evening event as one of the three finalist.

We were competing with Porchlight, an organisation working with homeless people and The Abbeyfield Kent Society who provide residential and sheltered care for older people.

This is a wonderful and prestigous award to have won and thanks to everyone who plays a part in making our organisation, and the services we provide, such a success.
